Earlier this year, our Business Development Manager, Samantha Norgate, visited Punnetts Town Community Primary School to support an engaging All Rise Workshop, proudly sponsored by Claire Nash Solicitors.
The pupils took part in an interactive mock trial based on Goldilocks and the Three Bears, with Goldilocks standing trial for breaking and entering and theft. Through role play and participation in a courtroom setting, the children gained a valuable insight into how the justice system works and the importance of fairness, evidence and decision-making.
Founded by former London solicitor and primary school teacher James Stewart, All Rise Workshops introduce young people aged 9–18 to the legal system through fun, interactive sessions that bring the law to life.
We are delighted to have funded four workshops across three local schools, enabling 117 children to experience the law in an engaging and memorable way.
Samantha reflected on the experience:
"I came away from the day feeling uplifted and inspired. James was brilliant, and it was wonderful to see how engaged the children were throughout the workshop. The school was incredibly welcoming, and it was a privilege to be involved in such a worthwhile initiative."
The success of these workshops has reinforced our commitment to supporting educational opportunities within our local communities. As a result, we are currently exploring opportunities to sponsor additional All Rise Workshops and would be delighted to hear from local schools that may be interested in taking part.
If your school would like to find out more about hosting a future workshop, please contact us to discuss how we may be able to help.
