Making a Difference Beyond the Legal Work We Do
Community runs at the very heart of our business. We believe that the responsibility of any law firm extends far beyond just providing legal services — it includes supporting the people, causes, and organisations that strengthen the communities around us.
That’s why we proudly invest our time, resources, and expertise into charities and initiatives that create real, positive impact.
Here are a few that we currently support:
The Good Company People
A local charity dedicated to reducing loneliness and social isolation. Their work provides companionship, activities, and dementia‑friendly clubs that help people feel more confident, connected, and valued.
With a focus on those over 65 and their carers, The Good Company People create welcoming spaces where friendships flourish and communities grow stronger. Supporting this charity means helping people live happier, more fulfilling lives for longer.
Rotherfield St Martin -
Our main charity of support for 2026
A charity dedicated to supporting older people in the local community through friendship, wellbeing activities, and practical assistance.
We are proud to be supporting them through a range of events taking place throughout 2026.
This includes a collaborative charity art project bringing together members of the RSM Art Club and Claire Nash Solicitors, sponsorship of RSM’s Dementia Experience Bus, as well as ongoing Dementia Awareness Training delivered by the organisation.
Nkuringo Foundation
Nkuringo Education and Community Support (NECS), a UK‑registered charity working with communities in South‑West Uganda. NECS provides hope and opportunity through education sponsorships, healthcare initiatives, and poverty relief programmes. Over 400 children have already benefited from its work, gaining access to schooling and brighter futures. By supporting NECS, we help their work of empowering families, strengthening communities, and ensuring dignity and opportunity for those living in Nkuringo.
We are committed to becoming a more dementia aware firm and
are proud to support Dementia Friendly initiatives, which help
create communities where people living with dementia feel
understood, included, and supported.
These programmes raise awareness, provide training, and encourage local organisations to adapt their services so that those affected can continue to live well and independently.
By backing Dementia Friendly work, we contribute to building compassionate environments that reduce isolation, promote dignity, and ensure that everyone can remain active and valued in their community.

All Rise!
All Rise Workshops delivers legal education workshops in primary and secondary schools across Sussex and beyond, introducing young people to law, our legal system, access to justice and legal careers in a way that is relevant, empowering, and aspirational.
Founded by James Stewart, a former solicitor and teacher, All Rise bridges the gap between the legal profession and the classroom and we are delighted to continue our support through funding a workshop, as well as supporting in person.
